Time Out in Taos

First class B&B operation by very nice couple, dedicated to serving wonderful breakfast and offering just the right amount of conversation with tips to local hot spots and other entertainment. We spent our anniversary weekend (3 nights) which was just the right amount of time to relax in Taos and see many of the art offerings, galleries, museums, plus the beautiful surroundings.

Many thanks to John and Pru for a great getaway.

We had a wonderful time. Jake was cute. Breakfast was in two courses, a first course of oats and a second of French toast. There were great afternoon snacks including various fresh cookies. The location in convenient to downtown and Prudy was willing to help pick restaurants and make reservations for you. The room was nice. We played cards in the garden, which was very relaxing. The only complaint was that the bed was uncomfortable, otherwise five dots.

A beautifully themed Inn run by a lovely couple, John and Prudence. I was there for 2 nights and loved my room. It was in a separate building in the back through the courtyard. John prepared an excellent breakfast each morning - especially the Irish Oats! I enjoyed my conversation with them and learning about Kokopelli from the books in my room!

We are so lucky!

Checking out places to stay in our AAA book we didn't get an answer on the first place we tried. Called Prudy at dream catcher and got the last two rooms. what an awesome find.

This was my Birthday trip, from the moment I drove into the Entrance, I knew I would love this place. Jake, John & Prudy made me feel at home. I love my Storyteller place. Love the decor & the amenities, especially the Free WiFi Internet Access & the fireplace that I only turn on very briefly that made me feel so comfortable & cozy. I like that the location is so convenient to everything I want to explore. I was only supposed to stay 2 nights & moved on to Albuquerque the 3rd day but I decided to stay an extra night since the drive time was really great to get to the airport & I'm glad I made the right decision. The referrals from Prudy for the Balloon Ride w/ Pueblo Co. & my Spa Retreat w/ Essentials Massage by Kyoka were excellent. I did these activities on my actual birthday & I felt so pampered from the Deep Tissue, Facial & Herbal Foot Wrap. Overall, this was a GREAT experience & I plan to return & stay here @ Dreamcatcher B&B again. Breakfast is very yummy, I missed the 1st day of breakfast because of my Balloon ride that starts @ 6am but Prudy made sure that I have my to go coffee, Banana nut bread that she baked & a yogurt. Like I said it feels like home away from home, there's a Mama looking out for me. Thank you Prudy & John & of course my little friend Jake who always met me while I get out of my car & @ the front door of their house. There are times he wants to come inside my room but he's not allowed in the guestroom & he's just as happy to play w/ me outside. It was a wonderful 1st time experience in NM.
